The Hawaii Science Bowl

Beginning in 1994, the Hawaii Science Bowl has encouraged student involvement in math and science activities with the hope of transforming today ’s brightest young minds into tomorrow’s scientific leaders.

Since its inception, over 50 high schools across the state and over 1,900 students and their advisors have participated in the Hawaii Science Bowl. Grooming students for future success, HSB alumni include numerous Presidential Scholars and graduates from some of the nation’s most highly respected educational institutes including MIT, Harvard, California Institute of Technology, Stanford and Carnegie Mellon.

Register for the Hawaii Science Bowl

The next Hawaii Science Bowl will be held on Saturday January 26, 2013 at Honolulu Community College. All Hawaii High Schools are encouraged to participate.

Registration for the 2013 Hawaii Regional Science Bowl will open in the fall of 2012. Notification of the registration opening and deadlines will be sent to the Hawaii Science Bowl email list when we have those dates.
